In which fields are cab shock absorbers used?

Cab shock absorber What fields have they all been applied to?
Cab shock absorbers are used in many applications, leading some to mistakenly believe they are a type of rubber vibration isolator—yet this is not the case. Cab shock absorbers belong to the category of damping‑spring shock absorbers. Although they incorporate rubber, their primary central component is a spring; therefore, they should be classified as damping‑spring shock absorbers.

1. The vibration‑damping performance of the air conditioner’s mounting system must be verified; do not rely on experience alone to prevent resonance, poor damping efficiency, and excessive energy loss.
2. To ensure the balance of equipment and installations, the deformation of the shock absorbers should be adjusted simultaneously.
3. When refining the installation, for symmetrical machinery, the vibration isolators shall be arranged symmetrically.
4. While ensuring the equipment remains stable, you can slightly adjust the position of the shock absorbers to ensure that each one undergoes uniform deformation.
5. For asymmetric machinery, when the center of gravity and the center of mass are significantly offset, shock absorbers of different models within the same series can be used to ensure that each absorber exhibits the same deformation under varying loads.
6. For diagonal vibration isolation systems, the center of gravity of the isolators should be as close as possible to the center of gravity of the equipment. As noted above, its air-conditioning vibration isolator is not a rubber isolator, but the two are still related.
Many people know. Cab shock absorber The role of the cab shock absorber is well understood, yet many people are unsure how to inspect it. A properly functioning cab shock absorber cushions road impacts, quickly dampens vibrations caused by bumps, and helps the vehicle return to a stable, normal driving condition. But what signs indicate that the cab shock absorber is malfunctioning?
Press down firmly on the bumper, then release it. If the car bounces two to three times, the shock absorber is functioning properly; otherwise, it is not. Remove the shock absorber and keep it upright, clamp the lower mounting bracket in a vise, and repeatedly push and pull the shock absorber. At this point, there should be consistent resistance—pulling should require more force than pushing. If the resistance is unstable or absent, the shock absorber may be low on oil or have damaged valves; repair or replace the relevant parts. After driving 10 km on a rough road, bring the vehicle to a stop and touch the shock absorber’s exterior. If it is not warm enough, it indicates there is no internal resistance and the shock absorber is not working. In this case, add an appropriate lubricant and retest. If the exterior feels hot, the shock absorber is low on oil and needs to be fully topped up; otherwise, the shock absorber is ineffective.
Cab shock absorber In actual use, noise may occur due to factors such as collisions between the shock absorber and the leaf springs, frame, or axle; damage or detachment of rubber mounts; deformation of the shock absorber dust boot; or insufficient lubrication. The root cause should be identified and rectified. Proper operation of the cab’s shock absorbers ensures a smoother ride, so it is important to regularly check that they are functioning correctly.
